We start with a garden trend that is not actually new, but is actually continuing: a canopy<\/a>. This trend began several years ago and has since grown into a true phenomenon. The canopy, also known as a veranda, has become almost an extension of the house and provides the garden with a multifunctional function. This place is often furnished and decorated with care, but we also like to add items such as a barbecue or wood stove. This makes outdoor living enjoyable even during periods when it is less warm. <\/span><\/p> \n

Given the developments in the world we now want to be around the house more often, and then the garden is a nice place. Understandably, you want to enjoy it to the fullest. Preferably all year round. Going inside early in the evening because it gets dark would be a waste, but lighting is also essential during a winter barbecue. <\/span><\/p> \n

Installing lighting is a logical first step, especially if you are building your garden from scratch. At the same time, it creates space and contrast, making your garden look larger. Besides being functional at dark times, light also provides atmosphere and safety. <\/span><\/p> \n

Today, those who build a garden can choose from a wide range of colors and materials. We see in the garden trends of 2021 that e <\/span>r is increasingly opting for environmentally friendly applications and sustainable products. Examples include the collection and reuse of rainwater, but the application of greenery is also an important aspect. <\/span><\/p> \n

Use colors in natural shades of white, gray and brown, and brighten it up with loose or movable elements in a contrasting color. The advantage of this is that you can easily replace these loose elements or decorative pieces the moment you want to create a different atmosphere or look. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Want to incorporate color into your garden in a natural way? Then choose greenery. By using a variety of plants, trees and shrubs in different sizes and heights, you bring diversity in color in a natural and sustainable way. <\/span><\/p> \n

Multifunctional yet easy to use<\/b><\/h2> \n

Finally, one of the garden trends is that it is important to be especially thoughtful and with a plan. Just as in the house you can move some furniture around for a while, in the garden it is a little more difficult to make drastic changes quickly. All elements in your garden such as lighting, patio, porch, paths and different levels must eventually become a whole and be practical. You don’t want to soon be annoyed by a dumpster that is too far away from the house, but you certainly don’t want it to end up next to the barbecue either. <\/span><\/p> \n
